Dr. Jon Vongschanphen
Dr. Jon’s approach to dentistry is built on the belief that great care goes beyond teeth. It’s about understanding the person behind the smile and recognizing the important role the jaw, muscles, and teeth play in overall health and wellness. Oral health is closely connected to the rest of the body, including digestion and long-term wellbeing, and Dr. Jon and his team work with patients to support that bigger picture.
Caring for your oral health is an important part of maintaining overall wellness. Dr. Jon and his close-knit team share this philosophy and are committed to helping patients achieve healthier smiles in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Dr. Jon graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2001 after completing his Bachelor of Science at California State University, Sacramento. He remains dedicated to continuing education and advanced training to stay current with modern dental techniques. Dr. Jon is an LVI Dentist through the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, a premier post-doctoral teaching facility, and earned his Fellowship status in 2008 after completing an extensive live patient curriculum. He has been proudly serving patients in the Roseville and Rocklin, California area for more than a decade.
One of Dr. Jon’s priorities has always been creating a welcoming, personable office environment where patients feel comfortable and never rushed. He takes time to meet with patients, answer questions, and make sure they understand what to expect throughout their treatment. Because he lives close to the Roseville and Rocklin area, he is also able to be available when patients need care for dental emergencies.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jon enjoys spending time with his two children and their black lab. Having grown up in Northern California, he enjoys golf, movies, barbeques, bicycling, exercising, and staying up to date with the latest technology. Friends, family, and patients alike know him for his caring nature and his genuine passion for providing the highest level of dental care.
Dr. Jon is proud to be affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
